And what was her reason for being about done? For a couple who was almost engaged twice, this is not normal behavior... you do realize that, right?

You do realize is not normal to continually interrogate a fellow man about his breakup when it's none of your damn business, right?

Yeah, Inks!  Bushie's Updates (now in their sixteenth volume) are none of anybody's damn business!!  Angry

I'm starting to think that daily life in Oklahoma - from birth until death - is just everybody scamming one another in some way all day every day.

Also, it's no surprise that Bushie's brother and sister-in-law have had enough of him.  He's been pissing away their inheritance for years.

Tulsa Public Schools?  Given the quality of people Oklahoma produces, I'm inclined to think it's just a scam too.

A thought that occurred to me is that a pizza or Jimmy John's delivery job might be decent for Bushie. You can work part time with very flexible hours so he can't use the excuse of having to look for other jobs, it's mostly driving, and even he can walk up carrying that to someone's doorstep. And while the pay isn't great they can make good money with tips, my brother working at Jimmy John's delivery is probably making more than Bushie did at his last call center job with his tips included. And I don't know if Tulsa is the same but in Minneapolis many have the only qualification that you have a car and a driver's license.

The issue there is still interaction with customers.

Meh, who ever really interacts with their pizza delivery guy?

has anyone mentioned it would be much more efficient to apply online?  oh yeah, almost everyone has suggested that...

Yeah but that's free, Walter.  Don't you know you're supposed to spend $58 to apply for a job anywhere?

Since I took that Excedrin about 10:30, my headache has dropped from a Grade 8 down to a Grade 5.  It still hurts, but it certainly feels better than it did just a few short hours ago.

Can we get the grading scale for these headaches?  What specifically causes a downgrade or upgrade from one category to another?

Maybe he should get a portable radio and headphones while he drafts to listen to baseball. That seems to keep him settled.

"I was told that I could listen to the radio at a reasonable volume from 9 to 11, I told Bill that if Sandra is going to listen to her headphones while she's filing then I should be able to listen to the radio while I'm collating so I don't see why I should have to turn down the radio because I enjoy listening at a reasonable volume from 9 to 11."

Another part of the problem is the Southern culture.  Yes, we all know they love them some fatty, greasy carbs, but an equally pressing problem is portion control.  The winner of Teen Chopped a few days ago, an overweight young girl from South Carolina, illustrated this perfectly by heaping a pile on the judges' plates and saying "down south we like to leave with full bellies and a doggy bag for later".  Southerners just keep eating and eating in a single sitting until they just can't stuff any more in there, and that's considered normal.

Haha, I am not doing the challenge.  I don't get the point of it.

Yeah, charity doesn't strike me as something you'd be interested in.

I like how the fat guy in Joe's video did the bare minimum, standing in the shower and just dumping a cup of water over the top of his head.

The resemblance was a lot more than simply his appearance and voice.

Not a doctor... high school coaches do this stuff.

Much better to be a high school coach than one of those condescending know-it-all doctors, amirite?

Also, I personally wouldn't have included inquiring of an overweight man for the color of his pee on my birthday, but I'm sure you had a blast anyway.

To be honest, this year was pretty uneventful. I worked and had a work road rally, and then ate some cake and fell asleep on the couch watching Chopped.

That's... actually a pretty awesome sounding birthday in my book.  You know what FN show I'm hooked on right now?  Cutthroat Kitchen.  That sh[Inks] is hilarious.
