Eraserhead, as you seem to own the rights to this show, have you considered selling Update merchandise?

I'd be prepared to offer a qualified defense of the existence of Update in many ways, but this 'season', 'executive producer', 'treating it like an actual work of serialized fiction' thing has gotten really out of hand and really perverse.

Well a lot of it has been nothing more than serialized fiction.

Hey, folks, Allison and I have parted ways.  We parted as very good friends and in a mutual agreement.  Please don't mock me for this.

Sorry to hear that.

I worked out what my regular daily calorie intake is... and you really need to be trying to get to 2300 calories.

Not if your meals primarily consist of frozen pizzas, bacon cheeseburgers and liters of coke.

Remember when we were being bitched at for suggesting this might not be a good job for him?

I have made my decision after sleeping on it and I'm going to make the unpopular decision of pulling the plug and then get started on the job search as soon as I get back home.

As long as you can squeeze in an application or two between baseball games, I'm sure it'll be alright.

How about I look for jobs during baseball games?  I can do that, too.

I'm impressed.

At least he should have time to contact them about the certificate now.

I plan to contact them today.

Certainly a good idea. I'm sure you'll find more employers in that field willing to consider you once you can actually prove your competence in CADD.

If it's really what you expect it to be, then congratulations.

So? Free healthcare is free healthcare. It's not his fault that he needs some tenuous tribal affiliation to access what should be his human right.

Hear hear! I'd use any trick I could in his shoes and I'm glad he does.

What would you choose for dinner?  TGI Friday's or Cracker Barrel?

I'd choose something worthwhile, so neither... Smiley

Eating can certainly be fun, or at least a pleasurable activity. The trick is getting off the junk food that makes up 100% of Bushie's meals. There's no reason proper food shouldn't be a joy to eat.

Despite the dinner debacle yesterday, I have lost an additional 1.4 pounds from Thursday.

Your claim is that you've consumed 4900 calories less than necessary for maintenence in the last 2 days?

Seriously even you don't believe that.

I'm just believing the scale.

Unless you claim you have consumed the amount of calories I mentioned, you must then come to the conclusion that it's just a more or less random fluctuation.

Being really hungry at night shouldn't be the goal. You need to adjust your diet so the appropriate number of calories satisfies you. Unfortunately, that's basically impossible to do without evil vegetables.

Well now I understand how he's losing 1.4 pounds in 2 days. How couldn't you when eating things like that?

Might be a good idea to watch a bit less football and use the time for CADD practice?

Strawberries and vanilla sound alright, but I think I'll pass on the antifreeze!

Look at it this way, your grade 9 headache would be the least of your worries then, at least.
