Does Atlas REALLY like Thad Cochran? Or do you all just like Republicans who get challenged in a primary and move to left instead of the right?

I've always felt a lot of people here have seen him as "as good as you get from Mississippi."

This forum may tilt left, but what blue avatar did you think was going to vote for him?  He's a socialist...

Kind of interesting that the Atlas has a more favorable view of Rob Portman than Andrew Cuomo.

I'd vote for Sanders. The ideas that he has that I disagree with the most would either be blocked or molded into a grand compromise, and his views on civil liberties, foreign policy, and most social issues are great. Plus Sanders doesn't have that egregious personality that Feingold (who I despise) has.

From what I remember on past polls, there are many republicans on here who have a lot of respect for Sanders' principled stances even though they disagree with them.

Crazy that half of the Senate is either positive/even with the other half in the negatives.

According to progressive punch, Carper is the sixth most conservative Democrat in the Senate. And I'm assuming Democrats are going to be a lot less willing to cut him some slack than they would for someone like Landrieu or Manchin, since he represents a Safe D seat.

If anything Feingold has a far more likable personality than Sanders.
