So, guys, is the "Deadly Viper Assassination Squad" really Fox Force Five?

I'm watching "Kill Bill" with the crew and when I saw a minority (in this case, Afro-American) member of the squad, I remembered the fact that ol' Uma's character in "Pulp Fiction" had played a part in a five-woman group of spies back in her acting days and remembered that there were multiple ethnicities/races involved. Apparently, the internet has some discussion on this, but I"m far too lazy to read this. What are your thoughts on the group in "Kill Bill" actually being the same posse that Uma's character ran with on the pilot she did?
