That's Bush's worst showing in a national poll since February.

On the GOP side, who leads among....?

men: Paul
women: Huckabee
whites: Huckabee/Paul tie
under age 50: Paul
age 50-64: Christie
age 65+: Huckabee
income under $50k: Huckabee
income over $50k: Christie
no college: Huckabee
attended college: Christie

So Christie is "wine track" and Huckabee is "beer track".

Correct title of this thread should have been "Christie back on top of crowded GOP field."

I'd say when your frontrunner only manages 13%, it's fair to call it a tossup.

The top 5 candidates are statistically tied.

I think given how far he'd fallen and how comically accepted it was on this form that he was finished, even a modest comeback like this seems like the most significant story.

Or Bush is becoming more irrelevent, and as a result, his supporters move to the obvious next in line - Christie. Christie is still a paper tiger.

Rand Paul seems like the strongest GOP nominee, IMO.

If he can get hawks to vote for him, he would have the most compelling elect ability argument due to his strength with younger voters.

Conversely, if the hawks abandoned him, he would be screwed.

The very reason that he does so well with younger voters is his aversion to hawkishness.

Right, but Republicans who are hawks aren't as one issue-oriented or as stubborn of voters as, say, your average extreme social conservative or Tea Partier.  This is just my opinion, but I don't think Paul's nomination would lead to any revolt in the way that electing Susan Collins or Olympia Snowe would...
