Republicans are causing sewage overflows?

Given the usual Republican attitude towards spending the necessary money to fix/upgrade our outdated and crumbling infrastructure... I don't think that's exactly an outlandish position to take. Tongue

Even without taking global warming into account.

I did, and strangely enough I failed to find the words "Republican", "Democrat", "Congress", or even "politics" anywhere in the article. Did you mean to link to another one?

Fair point, but Democrats have more often than not only shown interest in infrastructural spending primarily in the interests of (union) job creation rather than for its own sake. If they actually cared as much as they ought to have, we should have at least seen a partisan fight on the issue. At the very least, we should have had a National Infrastructure Bank by now, or at least legislation on it reach the floor of Congress.

I don't disagree.

The title of the thread was meant as a half-joke since the article discusses climate change's impact on beer and Republicans have opposed addressing the issue.
