First picks -- Russia (so long as Putin is around)

Iraq and Syria (should ISIS take over)

Saudi Arabia, a "frenemy" that funds some of the nastiest anti-American causes.

Threat in what way?

The capability of physically destroying America through nuclear weapons (at the expense that the attacker will be destroyed as well) is currently possessed by Russia and China. I guess Russia is more likely to push the button, since Putin alone would make that decision while in China's case it would ultimately fall to the seven guys on the Politburo Standing Committee which increases the possibility of a veto. Either scenario's likelihood is rather slim though.

At present, the country which is most likely to do something that would actually result in the deaths of American citizens is probably Saudi Arabia via their funding of extremist groups etc. Which is also why it is pretty smart of you guys to sell them F-15E Strike Eagle's right now. I'd also say Iran is a bit less likely because them being Shia makes things much more complicated: they hate at least half of all Islamic terrorists themselves. Plus, their current president at least counts as a Reasonable Authority Figure.

And the greatest economic threat to America is of course China.

I missed North Korea -- but upon reflection I notice that it is in much more danger from any of its neighbors and near-neighbors than is any country near it.

The regime is objectionable as it could be, but I'm beginning to think that it has more to fear from China than South Korea has to fear from China. If it does something stupid, then the armistice that allows North Korea to exist as a totalitarian regime becomes void. Neither Russia nor China will tolerate a nuclear-armed North Korea or any unilateral invasion of the South.

I think the biggest threats right now are ISIS and Russia. There could be hope with our relations with Iran and China though its not the best situation right now. I really wouldn't consider Israel's recalcitrance and Saudi Arabia's triangulation against us a threat..at least not yet.

When all is said and done -- our own fascists. They don't need to prance around in brown shirts or rally around burning crosses to be thugs who first gut all that is good in America and put America at risk from countries like Germany and Japan with the decencies that America imposed upon them in 1945.

America played a huge role in defeating the fascist powers in World War II because it kept a moral compass. The Axis Powers enslaved and plundered at will.  Once American troops took over another piece of real estate the war was over for those liberated or conquered, barring a desperate counter-attack like the Battle of the Bulge. American troops left nobody a reason for striking back behind the lines.

Fascism is about the purest pathology that any political entity could ever achieve. We need be reminded of what Laurence Britt warned us of in several pathological regimes:

With the caveats that Dubya wasn't particularly sexist by American standards and the Rove-Cheney-Bush administration could not rig the 2006 midterm election or the 2008 general election... the 43rd Presidency was awful for most of the above reasons, and inexcusably so.  Take away the comic-opera nonsense, and some key players in the American Right would be very happy with a regime that mows down strikers or protesters and guarantees huge profits through wars.

Russia is the greatest military threat.
China is the greatest economic threat.
Saudi Arabia is the greatest terrorist threat.
North Korea is the greatest trolling threat.
Israel is the "ally" doing the greatest harm.

I think a lot of people are confusing terrorists in failed/failing states with countries.

Terrorists in Afghanistan, Iraq/Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Libya... those actual countries (with exception to Syria) are NOT threats or particularly anti-American, but they can't completely control their country, and terrorists are hiding or exploiting their chaotic situation.

I'd say only the first 7 countries I listed are anti-American and could possibly be threats (as countries).

Not so much Mexico as the general lack of security, but this is my opinion as well. The flow of people and weapons in and out of our country is not only bad for us, but it also is fueling the drug war in the northern part of Mexico (which is also bad for us as well as the Mexicans).

No nation is inherently a threat to the American working class. One cannot say the same thing about the parasites who run the show here, though. They are the clearest present danger to all human life on the planet, given their control of a nuclear arsenal and demonstrated willingness to go to any lengths for access to markets for their products abroad.

None of the above.

The biggest threat to the U.S. is people such as Paul Singer or the Koch brothers.

One wonders how many "terrorists" can mix in with the never ending flow of people......I'd guess a lot.

There is no coherent 'American working class'

I have greater ties to wealthy conservatives in my community thanI do with some racist unionbusting dickhole from Tennessee.

And that would never change.  I have nothing in common with a homophobic trailer dwelling racist former car maker.  I have plenty in common with the well educated, granola eating green fiend that is mayor of my town.

This is why I find the direction and total dominance of your ideology a bit off putting.  And I think that is your failure...not mine..if you want sympathetic supporters besides snowstalker.
