Have you ever made a thread that you regretted later?

I certainly have. Here's one of them. This thread popped into my mind as "what was I thinking when I made that" after seeing it.

Anyone else regret a thread? And by the way, I change my vote to no, I doubt George Zimmerman would like My Little Pony.

Yeah, I've had a few; for most them, I think I deleted them after 1-2 responses.

I saw in my stats yesterday that I've created 51 threads in my 10 years on the forum. I only remember the content of a couple -- one was a stupid "I've hit 2,000 posts" thread.

I don't regret any, but I do remember that most of mine received tepid responses. That's always embarrassing ... creating a thread and having it die after only a handful of responses.

It's even worse when it gets pushed down by amazingly stupid crap, as is almost always the case.

I think a better question for me would be to name a thread I don't regret making.

Ah, indeed! Always frustrating to have the latest "Opinion of opebo" poll crush a legitimate attempt at discussion!

I don't regret any threads I've mad. I regret most of my IRC weekend chats, though.

In general I feel really awkward when I make a thread and nobody posts in it.

But other than that no.
