Here is the scenario.

Let us suppose that, somehow, John McCain and Sarah Palin are elected over Barack Obama and Joe Biden in 2008 and are reelected in 2012.

The Russian Ukraine conflict and the Israeli Hamas war are raging, and President Mccain dies of a heart attack in July of 2014.

Vice President Palin is sworn in as President.

What happens?

Depends. Did Sarah Palin get alot of on the job training as VP, or was she stubborn and in the same shape as she was in 2008?

But yeah, I imagine it's the latter version of Palin and things start to deteriorate... fast...

I would imagine that she does better than everyone expects, having been VP for close to 6 years by this point, but still ends up damaging USA's international standings further and losing reelection in 2016 by a large margin.
