Some attention whoring:

A few days ago, some guy from the Austrian affiliate of GfK (http://www.gfk.com/at) called me and asked me a few questions about media consumption habits.

In the end, he said that he could send me a link with an online-poll that takes about 30 minutes to complete (for their in-depth analysis).

I accepted, because I'll get a 10€ Amazon coupon.

They sent it today and after filling it out, they sent me the coupon.

(Even I don't really like Amazon, because of their troubles with "slave-work" in Germany recently, it's better than nothing I guess.)

I'll buy the annual yearbook/world almanach called Fischer Weltalmanach with it, when it comes out in September, for 10 instead of 20€:

Are you paid to do advertizing for Fischer? One could come to that conclusion Wink

Are there polls on whether Austrians would support a return to the glory days?

No & No.

(There's nothing wrong though with highlighting a good old yearbook that's been around for over 50 years now).

As a money-making tourist attraction from what I gathered spending a few days in Vienna. (That said, the Imperial Crypt, which has the bodies of all the old Hapsburg emperors, is one of the coolest tourist sights I've ever visited. Well worth the admission.)

It's a non-issue these days.

Many young people don't even know what's meant with it ...
