So I'm going to be in Madison again

On Sunday. Leaving between 5-6AM and will be back home at 10PM. No I am not driving.

So what's the best restaurant in Madison? We'll have to stop somewhere.

I forget what the restaurant was, but they had a "Wisconsin burger", which was a 1/3 lb. burger between a couple of grilled cheese sandwiches.  Seems like overkill, bit it was quite good.  Perhaps that type of entree is a thing up there?

Not sure if you're looking for fine dining or a dive bar, but Dotty Dumpling's by the University is pretty good.

I usually take people to the Old Fashioned or the Great Dane. They're both medium-priced (~$10 meal) sit down restaurants with an assortment of normal dinner selections.

Unfortunately a recent shakeup and some complications (not involving me directly) have caused this to be cancelled. Will probably happen sometime later, but I'll be in Chicago earlier on Saturday.

I was thinking about this earlier today. I was at an event at the Adler Planetarium this morning and as I left just before noon I recalled your Chicago trip last year. I was also downtown for an am event and passed by Grant Park as I left that day. However, this would probably not be the weekend for Ingress in Grant Park since it's been taken over by Lollapalooza.
