Freedom Names obviously. I remember being jealous as a 1st/2nd grader that I didn't have a cool last name like so many of my classmates.

Are those things like "Roaring Thunder" and "Silent Beaver" and stuff like that?

I assumed that was just something Native Americans in general did. I didn't know it was specific to Sioux.

Apparently, he's Pawnee, not Sioux, but I always thought Larry Echo Hawk had a cool name.

As for English surnames, I've always been fond of Makepeace.

I am not going to judge an entire cultures surnames.  Why is there no middle option?  I agree some of them are cool, but some are dumb.  Its the same with everything, some good, some bad.
