Ohio is a better fit, but Virginia could very well be more Democratic due to demographic change.

Virginia is because her establishment tinge does well in NOVA and she is more appealing in the more rural portions of the state than Obama, going with the trend.

Ohio because Hillary connects with working class whites much more than Obama did.

Does this take the cake for the #1 "Did Not Age Well" thread?

Well this turned out to be prophetic.

What we knew of Hillary Clinton electorally from the past was that she did actually do well with white working-class voters. Turns out it was because she was the non-black primary candidate in 2008. Some people knew that from the very beginning, but some of us were hoping it wasn't so.

I'd be very interested in knowing how many white Clinton '08 primary voters supported Trump in the '16 general.

Eh, that had more to do with Trump being a really good fit than her.

I thought the changing perception of Hillary was well underway by late 2014, but I guess not considering how close this poll is.
