Also, is anyone else finding the new look of CBC's "New Brunswick votes" less user-friendly than the old clickable maps they used to have?

Yes, I tried using it. It's terrible.

Radio-Canada uses it too, but it's bad. Better than previous Radio-Canada system, through (they had no maps at all!)

We need to start doing pro bono consulting for smaller parties. Lesson One: FOCUS ON WINNING A SEAT!!!!

The NDP ran way too broad of a campaign when they should've been focusing on 1-2 seats. That's fine when you'rep polling in the 20's, but when the NDP faded they hadn't put the resources into the leader's seat and they got screwed.

The NDP strategy in these types of provinces has always been to focus on one or two seats. It's all you can do with a small budget. Get your foot in the door first, build the party to win government in the future. It worked in Nova Scotia.

No result tonight in Edmundston-Madawaska Centre, since the last tabulator is broken. They have nobody to count, so they'll count tomorrow, apparently.

We are at 49 broken tabulators.

They decided to delete all data and restore it totally and withheld all data until they are sure everything is right.

The problem with those tabulators was than there was alreayd results written manually in those places.

PC party president is wanting all votes to be recounted by hand.

The PC lawyers advice is to not concede (until a hand recount of all votes, I suppose?) .

PC leader won't do any speech tonight, apparently.

Well, New Brunswick will make news tomorrow!

PC night is finished. Alward won't do any speech tonight (not anybody at the HQ will comment) and the party president called for a complete hand recount.

The 49 broken tabulators are literally on road, they are going at the returning officer office. In Campebello, one will have to go through the US border.

They want 49 cards, but there is only issues with 35 of them? That's some terrible management.

New results!

Bad news. PA leader is back in the race. Trailing by only 26 votes.

CBC has a list of the chips in transit: 2 from Caraquet, 5 from Kent South, 1 from Shediac Bay-Dieppe, 1 from St. John East, 1 from St. John Harbour, 2 from Fundy & the Isles-St. John West.

Well that seems entertaining. I was actually rooting for a PC upset victory in the end, because I despise the Trudeau Liberals so much right now...

So, is this mess going to put electronic voting in question or not ? I mean, all we always hear is "electronic voting gets the results faster !!!!1!11!" but it. isn't. true. Period.

There is a way of counting manually and efficiently and have the result in 2 to 3 hours. We French are always boasting about that, but still we get great results.

I spent very little time on my model, yet I still did better than him. When will he fix his s[inks]y model?

The Forum poll just before the election (the one that showed a tie) showed 53% to 33% in favor of Liberals among French speakers.
