I got an 82. 70 is the minimum to be eligible for hiring. Thinking I should apply if any positions open up here.

I don't want to try this test until I buy a textbook that teaches me what I need to know to answer it.  I hear such books are positively a steal at only $57.

Is this test stupidly easy or something?

This test requires no special knowledge at all.

It seems pretty hard not to pass this one.....

92%. Missed 2 in the memory section and 1 in the address checking section. If I can get that score then it means the test is really easy Tongue

I don't know the specifics, but the real one has a pretty tight time limit (I think 10 minutes?) for the first sets and then 5 for that last set. I tried to take it with that in mind - with no time limit, it should be very easy to make no less than a 90.

Well enough, apparently, since I work for the USPS.

I suspect the content of this test is far easier for people who post on a website called uselectionatlas.org than most people.

94% for me.

What I was saying BTRD, is that most professions require special skills to pass the entrance exam.

No high schooler could pass the professional engineering exams or an EMT certification(barring special instruction), for instance, but many high schoolers could pass this exam.

There's a difference between the assessment tests employers give out and special certifications. Obviously no one is passing the bar exam without law school or any type of engineering certification without a degree in it, but those require special skills. The truth is, most jobs don't, at least not in things that can't be trained in a month. An intelligent high schooler could in fact work at the post office without problem. Conversely I know a guy who has a $70k/year high level IT job who doesn't have a college degree. He's basically self taught. And there are in fact high schoolers skilled enough and self taught as well who could work that job, though they wouldn't stand a chance at getting it.

You'd better buy one now. Supplies are limited.

80.  Perfect on forms and coding, but only 70% on address checking and memory.
