Kasich is the only candidate in the race with a good family background and the values necessary to lead the state.

Is Kasich winning because Democrats here like him, or do people just want to annoy Adam?

I think a little from column a and a lot from column b.

Fitzgerald, though very unenthusiastically.

FitzGerald, since getting rid of a union buster is more pertinent than annoying a random guy on an internet forum (normal).

Am I the only one who is really bothered by his insistence on spelling his name FitzGerald instead of Fitzgerald? It reminds me of when people with French surnames get irritated if people don't pronounce them in the most exaggeratedly French way possible when we all know their family's lived in Calcasieu Parish for at least 300-ish years.

Despite my intense bashing of him, I'd still vote for Ed Fitzgerald.
And Bill Patmon.

John Kasich isn't the worst of the current crop of Republican Governors, but that's not saying much.

FitzGerald   .

Fitzgerald of course.

But I guess he has no chance.

This is a rather disturbing poll. If Republicans continue to hold all the power in Ohio for the next few years, I fully expect it to follow in the footsteps of Michigan and become a right-to-work state. It may or may not be on Kasich's priority list, but I have little doubt it'll end up on his desk (and he will, of course, sign it). Any Democrat that calls themselves such and can condone such action has no business in the party.

Anita Rios. I'd rather vote for what I want and not get than vote for what I don't want and get it. Rios is campaigning on a $15/hour minimum wage (which is much bolder than anything the mainstream parties are calling for), state-chartered bank (making her the only anti-bankster candidate in the race), and legalizing Cannabis. What's not to like?
