Fun fact: I will laugh my a** off if Wheeler Longworth is somehow forced into a run off with Glass Ford, given that the latter is only losing by one vote Tongue

Ford is leading in the Union primary now. I just might vote for Smith after all.

If the right is split then Wheeler should have an easy win assuming that the left all goes with him. Then again, it could be thrown to the House and who knows what could go on there.

True, but how much of the forum is going to actually vote for Ford? I think we'll have a moderate coalition behind Smith.

I think it's Flo. Also if Johnson beats Smith, do y'all think the Wheeler-Johnson split could lead to Eternal President Ford? I kinda want Eternal President Ford so we can have a solid boogeyman.

Ford would be an...interesting President in many ways, but I don't think he would've tried to become a dictator (awful as he was).

Also: Hiramentum!

Oh, I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about never stopping running for reelection - he's got 'til 1947.

Hmm, might there still be a runoff with the Unionists with these current numbers? I recall that Van Buren led by one vote in the 1848 primaries at first before being defeated in a runoff later, and I imagine that a lot of delegates would balk at Ford being nominated so easily.

If the GE forces me to choose between a Catholic and a Michiganian, I'll be a sad Cathcon.

Choose the Michigander, it's more fun! Also we still have the runoff.
