A little late, but have you all seen this? I am kind of disgusted by today's kids. More specifically, the ones that don't remember the time before Apple and rely on their products like out of touch brats.

It's an iPhone case
You don't just turn it on and get the apps?

This is a sign of lazy parenting if you let a corporation babysit your kids and have the kids not know anything else. Kids under 12 shouldn't have that stuff!

This one's funnier:

"Then how do you look up homework?"

Yes, but I at least remember the days before it. My first system was also a Gameboy, so I still feel a connection to it and feel like these kids are out-of-touch.

What's wrong with kids not wanting to use sh**ttier electronics than what they already have? How should they be expected to be familiar with technology from before their time? They're kids, not cultural historians.

I'm surprised this isn't a "Reaganfan" post as it is straight out of his "le wrong generation" mentality.

The ones who are "out-of-touch" are those still clinging to nostalgia and their idea of a better past - one  that never really existed.

Dumb post.

It's not so much that, but how out of touch with reality and disrespectful they are to the past. It's fine you want to use an iPad (but kids shouldn't have those), but at least respect what once was.

How are they disrespectful?  Maybe except for that one kid who called it stupid, they all seemed to acknowledge that it was advanced for its time and led to the things they have today.

I didn't know people still played with DS or PSPs, though, I thought they went out of fashion.

Why? If it was technology that was inferior, why "respect" it? And who really cares anyway? What is the benefit here? What is it that makes them "out of touch with reality"?

Also, why shouldn't kids have iPads? Gameboys are OK but iPads aren't? Bizarre.

We get it: there are things from your youth that you hold dear but that doesn't mean today's kids should as well. Things change.

personally, I plan on savagely beating my kids if tghey don't treat gameboys and KoRn with all the respect and humility of a military funeral.

Definitely makes me feel old, but it's not their fault for growing up in a different technological environment.

When I was a kid the Gameboy was a novelty... and I already thought it sucked. I only started playing videogames once they made the Nintendo DS.

I thought gameboy color was the sh**t when I was a kid and it has a lot of sentimental value for me.  But this is a silly thing to be outraged about at best.

Yeah, to be fair, the original Gameboy did actually kind of suck.

Hahah, the girl at 0:54. Finally someone is speaking truth to power.

"I actually like it, but also hate it."

"You had to buy soooo many things. You probably had to be rich!"

God these kids are amazing. I'm actually inspired and more optimistic about our future youth after watching it. They seem like some pretty chill and/or rad bros with an astute understanding of how the world works.

No, Lief, children are all stupid and don't know anything about pop culture artifacts that peaked in popularity before any of them were born.
