If this holds, 2016 is going to produce a strange trend map.

The Civitas Institute is primarily funded by John William Pope Foundation, the family foundation of Art Pope, currently governor Pat McCrory's budget director and prominent Republican donor.[2]

This poll has significantly less of a Clinton-Biden gap then I've seen elsewhere.

The numbers seem too low for Hillary and too high for Biden, and since it's a Republican pollster, maybe he's trying to push the (false) notion that Biden wouldn't be much worse than Hillary (in hopes that the Dems nominate him of course)? Seems like a stretch but it's the only explanation I can think of for these odd numbers.

Not using it. North Carolina gets polled often, and extreme partisan pollsters are unwelcome unless they fill holes.

Now that Civitas looks like they're doing in-house polling, instead of hiring SUSA, I'm more skeptical of their results.

The Civitas Institute is primarily funded by John William Pope Foundation, the family foundation of Art Pope, currently governor Pat McCrory's budget director and prominent Republican donor.[2]

Only for another month or so. Cheesy
