Title is kind of misleading. He's been dead for at least four years, we just got confirmation of it now (though it was quite obvious he was dead for much longer.)

This is kind of notable since this guy was known as the last remaining major Nazi war criminal at large. The book has closed on that era of history.

Yeah after reading up a bit more it appears that a couple Syrian postal workers were killed in at least one of the attacks. Can't praise that then.

Eichmann however remains a great example of legally dubious but still extremely admirable badassery.

I was thinking the same thing. I very rarely side with the Mossad, but it would have been nice if they had more success against him.

It turned out to be so. None of the ones that went to Arab countries were punished or killed. The anti-Zionism of the Arab world acted as an effective safe guard for them.
