I have a problem in general with narratives saying Israel is not "strong and secure" at the moment. Obviously there would be less terror if Hamas did not shoot missiles, but we're not in a situation where any country with a sizable army wants to invade the country. Tel Aviv has lower probability of being razed to the ground than Seoul these days.

Nor should we think Israel's social progressivism ought to justify its actions against Muslim populations, since it's not as if Israel is accepting LGBT refugees from neighbouring countries or anything. Clueless white dudes around for Tel Aviv pride are not immune to condemnation.

Anti-Zionism is also a big, sprawling term. But if we're talking about supporters of the two-state solution up to 1967 borders, that will keep Tel Aviv, Haifa and all such cosmopolitan cities in place.
