Common phenomenon, of course. But you see a thread title and think to yourself: I'd rather drink battery acid or (worse) vote Conservative than look into that seething toxic cesspool.

History threads covering any of the following: why the south went to war, the holocaust, whether the nazis were right wing.

Don't forget nearly any thread with the word 'Jews' in the title which is in the International General Discussion board.

Doesn't negate the fact that it's a sh**t thread, but it goes without saying that when you open your mouth on anything related to Israel, it probably belongs either here or in the Deluge by default.

At this point, most things in the 2016 Board.

Anything that discusses something Sarah Palin has said.

I've actually never understood Update either.

Update is the life of Bushie pretty much. I've never understood why people on a forum get so excited to hear about life of another guy on the internet (no offense to Bushie, its the thread itself I'm criticizing).

It's because his entire life is utterly ridiculous, and it's all his own fault and never learns anything.  It's also a great insight into life in Real America.  (see my sig)

Bottom line is that it's far more interesting and engaging than, for example, discussing how you would have voted in election 1980 because we already know the internet is going to heavily lean towards Carter and John Anderson.

So is an alcoholic's car wreck, but you'd be a sick twisted f[inks] to encourage that.

I'm newer to this forum, so perhaps I'm a bit naive, but I love to encourage Bushie.  I hope I can have a positive impact on his life.  Maybe just some words of encouragement can finally set a spark that really allows him to live his life to its fullest potential.  I'm a bit of an idealist, so I know it sounds a little silly. Bushie can take even the most naturally optimistic of people and consistently destroy their entire faith in humanity more effectively than anyone, except perhaps George R. R. Martin.  You've been warned.

People that don't like my threads also don't know how to format links.  I don't think that's a coincidence.

touche...just seems that links in this thread, out of all of them, should have a title so people aren't forced to click a thread the poster wouldn't be caught dead in.  At least you didn't post in that one three times before linking to it in this thread....that's all kinds of stupid.

Should (obscure congressman/Senator no one has ever heard of) be the Vice Presidential nominee?  Why not?
