Liberals on this forum are in the unenviable position of defending everything Obama and Hillary do when they disagree

Criticizing someone as being too old to be president is probably not a good avenue for her to go down.

I don't think her point is that he's too old to be president. It's that in the near future he'll be out of power soon.

The more the libs attack Hillary, the more I like her. Maybe she's more conservative than the GOP at the rate things are going, hahah

If only we had given ISIS more weapons and training in 2012, then ISIS in 2014 wouldn't be as powerful.

Clinton's hawkishness is one of her redeeming features.

Looks like the only way to stop Hillary is if Barry O. amends the constitution and runs for a third term so he can once again lay the smack-down on Hillary C.

Arming the rebels wouldn't have prevented ISIS anymore than arming the Iraqi military did, but voting against funding Bush's Iraq Adventure could have, something she did not do.

I'm not talking about only arming them, but also coordinating them and bombing targets so they could have toppled Assad and taken Damascus years ago.

I agree about not supporting the Iraq Quagmire, but let's face it, foreign policy that was good (read: NOT HAWKISH) was tossed out the window along with actual leftism, sound environmental policies, and non-polarization with Jimmy Carter

The only thing this says is a reinforcement that GOP = Tough (despite most of them having no close-up experience) while Dems = soft. And what's more, the current policy is just a smarter implementation of the last guard.

The level of sheer ignorance when it comes to foreign policy on this forum is literally mind numbing.

Her positions aren't particularly different from that of a Cold Warrior Democrat. Why is this surprising?

Clinton doesn't have a bad foreign policy. It's more assertive than Obama but I don't think it's anywhere near as aggressive as Bush's.

So you're admitting that Hillary is a neocon?

The idea that we would have only armed rebels who weren't ISIS is absurd. There are some ISIS members in this picture from last year.

Hillary doesn't differ with the neocons on any major issue, so yes she is a neocon.

This is why Rand Paul would destroy her in a general election, especially once people see them debate foreign policy.

The American people are mostly warmongers, though.

Trying to train, arm secular factions of the Syrian rebels in a civil war that was already breaking out doesn't really make someone an "unrestrained warmonger". Not sure it would have been effective and neither is Hillary, as she admits. Can't see anything in here causing her political problems either.
