Indeed...the next two games are easy (home vs TB then @Jax) then they get a teeny bit harder (@Cle home for Hou, Ind and Baltimore @NYJ and @Ten), but all of those are winnable.

How was that easy Tampa Bay game? Tongue
We do this every freaking year it seems.  We lost to the Vikings and Raiders last year in the same kind of way.  I don't mind losing to good teams or even average teams at their house....but bad teams at home....you HAVE to win those games.  I'm not ready to throw in the towel on the season, but sheesh.....

Ed Bouchette from the Post-Gazette made an excellent point this morning on the radio, that the Steelers MUST score 30 to win.  Their two wins both 30+  Two losses <30

It's nice people are STFU about Todd Haley.  Ben's having an amazing year and so is Antonio Brown.

Indeed...it's the D that is sucking up the joint....and has been for several years now.  I know this is hearsay, but is it time for LeBeau to retire?

Been time.  Keith Butler is their DC in waiting, and they are paying him handsomely to wait, but he's getting impatient.........so am I.

Unrelated note, but LeGarrette Blount retweeted one of my tweets a few days ago.

The more time that goes by the more fondly we'll look back on the Cowher era, I think.

The D gave up 158 total yards today on the ground against the Browns. I mean, the offense can move the ball and not score or kick FGs, okay, but allowing teams to run on you cannot be allowed. A mediocre QB can beat a D that allows rushing yards. Plus, Worilds may not be as hyped and guys like 43 in his prime will be sorely missed.

Ben is very overrated but he has been in the right place at the right time. Not so now. I just don't see it.
You were saying?  Only QB with 2 500yd games and now 2 games in a row with 6 TD passes.

And we're now on top of the AFC N and that's with a stupid loss to the Bucs at home.

I think the reality is clearly somewhere between the Cleveland game and the last two weeks. He also set the worst performance for a super bowl winning QB and is no Brady or Manning by any stretch of the imagination. That said, he had two spectacular weeks, yes, but the Steelers are back on everyone's radar now, so hold off on ordering those s.b. tickets for a little while yet. Tongue

3 wins at home and 12 touchdowns in the last 2 games has silenced the Haley Haters.

I have to admit, I was also pretty amazed we won 3 at home in the last 2 games. Tongue

They're a lot closer to the Super Bowl than the 49ers are.

Well, at least if you make the playoffs you probably won't have to play the Jets or the Bucs.

You all know what this means? The Cleveland Browns are in sole possession of first place in the NFC North. The apocalypse is nigh.

I said after the Browns drafted Johnny Manziel that they'd win the wild card. I underestimated Johnny Football's ability to single-handedly carry the Browns to victory.

You can't turn the ball over that many times and win.  Lets hope they got it all out of them today.

Big Ben hatred is pretty widely accepted (especially on a personal level)......the Onion had a couple of pieces that might actually be 100% spot on.
