We've got quite a few Steeler fans and plenty more Steeler haters that will enjoy this too.  I was just checking out the schedule and I think the Steelers are going to go undefeated this year....

vs Cleveland
@ Baltimore
@ Carolina
vs Tampa Bay
@ Jacksonville
@ Cleveland
vs Houston
vs Indianapolis
vs Baltimore
@ New York Jets
@ Tennessee
BYE WEEK
vs New Orleans
@ Cincinnati
@ Atlanta
vs Kansas City
vs Cincinnati

Ok, the @Bal, @Cin and maybe the @Atl games might be tough, but damn that's an easy schedule.  Getting to host NO,IND KC (those teams all play real tough at home) and having easy road games at at Jax and Car.  If the Oline is better (and it should be) and they let Ben be Ben (ie, no huddle early and often) and if Bell is the beast he seems to be, I think we'll be alright even with the (likely) worst D in the AFC North.

Now tell me where I'm wrong, as I'm sure I am, going undefeated is a bitch.

In what universe are the Panthers an easy road game? This isn't 2010.
They won't have the same season this year as they did last year.  Cam still has nobody to throw too and they still have an ass secondary.  Yeah, their Dline and LB corps are great and Cam is pretty damn good, but they are missing some important pieces.

..and FTR, I don't REALLY think we're going undefeated, that was just trolling, but I DO honestly think we're going to have a great year and have a damn good shot of getting to the big game.

They went 8-4 down the stretch last year and that was with a patch work Oline, the line should be better this year.  Bell is a beast.  If they win fewer than 10 I'll be shocked.

Brown kicking the Browns punter in the face is the greatest thing I've seen in months.

They gave us a scare in the second half though.

It seems he was trying to leap him as we've seen ball carriers do before, but realized 1/4 of the way into it that the punter wasn't going to allow that so Brown just went with the stiff arm, via foot.  I'm almost positive he didn't start the jump thinking he was going to kick the guy in the face.

Our defense sucks more than I thought.

the defense sucks, but these ticky tack penalties are freaking stupid.  Even the one early in the game when Ben got hit.  Oh no, a hand brushed up against a face mask....15 yard penalty.  Oh no, a shoulder made contact with the upper chest....automatic first down.

I don't want to count the chickens just yet (especially with our shaky D), but yeah, pretty easy so far.

....and that's in spite of the refs being total dicks again.

Yeah, pretty much every aspect of our game was better this week compared to last.  I still don't really trust the D, but Ben looked much better, as did the running game (obviously).

Indeed...the next two games are easy (home vs TB then @Jax) then they get a teeny bit harder (@Cle home for Hou, Ind and Baltimore @NYJ and @Ten), but all of those are winnable.

How was that easy Tampa Bay game? Tongue
We do this every freaking year it seems.  We lost to the Vikings and Raiders last year in the same kind of way.  I don't mind losing to good teams or even average teams at their house....but bad teams at home....you HAVE to win those games.  I'm not ready to throw in the towel on the season, but sheesh.....

Indeed...it's the D that is sucking up the joint....and has been for several years now.  I know this is hearsay, but is it time for LeBeau to retire?

Ben is very overrated but he has been in the right place at the right time. Not so now. I just don't see it.
You were saying?  Only QB with 2 500yd games and now 2 games in a row with 6 TD passes.

And we're now on top of the AFC N and that's with a stupid loss to the Bucs at home.

You can't turn the ball over that many times and win.  Lets hope they got it all out of them today.

Since Tomlin took over the team they are 1-8 against teams that have a .200 or worse winning percentage.  How does that happen?  Sure, if you're the Raiders or Jags or Browns....but we've been to the playoffs several times, won a freaking SB, but can't beat the dogs?
