Right now I'm thinking Cornyn, though after 2014, I think the county will definitely keep drifting D.

Cornyn; Obama only held it by 970 votes in a Presidential year.

Cornyn for now, but the Democrats can soon call it theirs. (Along with Dallas, Travis, Bexar, El Paso, etc.) I do, however, think it will be close.

I think the better question is, how does Cornyn do in Dallas County?

It is bizarre to think that a Republican could hope to win a county where whites are only around 1/3 of the populace. Such is the extreme conservativism of Texas whites and pitiful minority turnout.

I think Cornyn pulls a decent 42-43% in Dallas, maybe losing something like 56-42.
