Steve King totally clears up that it's not about racism because the protestors are all black

Nixon didn't denigrate them. They denigrated themselves and their uniforms and the authority they had been granted through their actions.

The documents do not actually make clear that the police officer was responding to Brown as a shoplifting suspect when the shooting happened. I think the connection was made after he was already dead.

Right. There's a difference between saying he was facing the cops and he was barreling toward the cops full speed.

Anonymous comments in a youtube video are probably admissible in court, right?

So you're saying everybody else is lying? That they all got together and concocted a story, or all came up with it on their own?

And when you say that Mike Brown was barreling toward the police, you're imposing some assumptions on what this guy is saying anyway. He said he was coming back toward the police, right? Not charging. You're imposing that on the story. As well as the idiotic assertion that you keep making that he was "hopped up on goofballs".

"hopped up on goofballs" is a colloquialism for someone appearing to be on some kind of drug.  Usually used in a "jokey" way.

Because this whole situation is a laugh riot.

I didn't really feel the rest was worth responding to. You're accusing people of only seeing what they want to see, but when you hear an anonymous comment on a youtube video, all of a sudden it's the gospel truth no matter what other sources might say.

I still don't understand why they are still rioting.  If the evidence points that the cop was in the wrong and the investigations conclude otherwise, I could understand it (rioting would still be wrong), but for now it just looks stupid and serves no good purpose.

What's your threshold for what's considered rioting? Is it anything the police declare to be rioting?

Have you seen this?

Another view of the security camera in the convenience store. Certainly cuts against the idea of a robbery. Looks more like a teenager being a dick to me, but then I suppose I'm being redundant.

The owner disputes that he called the police at all, actually.

Perhaps. But also notice that he didn't say Mr. Brown did rob the store, right? I mean, we can both play games about things the store owner didn't say.

What's your definition of rioting?

Can you provide a link to back up the bit about rioters shooting at police? I've only found it on Breitbart, which is questionable.

Sorry, I didn't see the link. My bad.

I suppose I would want to know what the sequence of events was. Did police start firing tear gas and ordering people to disperse before the violent actions, or afterwards?

Last page dead0man said there are millions of youtube videos of people being entirely unaffected by tasers, so there you go.
