The really interesting thing is that both sources on the right and the left are acknowledging the "militarisation of police" has spiraled to an alarming level. Does anyone think things might things change as a result?

Unfortunately, if you are black or brown, attempted shoplifting is a very serious crime in Apartheid America. The only reasonable response by the brave white policeman was to execute him in the street.

Of course if he had been a white attempted shoplifter, he would be put into a fancy shoplifting rehab program.

This is a bit presumptuous.

Yes, it presumes the usage of the word "n" in an explanatory context is less offensive than actually being called one, whether it be by some black guy on the street or Snowyguy.

Look, I lived with a cop for 24 years of my life. I grew up around them. To be honest, they do not want to screw around with people. If anything, that's just more filling out reports. Almost always the cop's story is correct.

If anything, this cop was even more just justified than George Zimmerman who was found not guilty.
