Teachout can't concede to Cuomo because he didn't give her his number. What an asshole.

That would require acknowledging her existence, which I doubt is any more likely to happen tomorrow than it was yesterday.

I don't know. He may kind of have to after this.

I think this proves that Cuomo deserved a more robust challenge.

Imagine if someone like Hakeem Jeffries had run against Cuomo.  Cuomo would lose for sure.

There is still ample reserve in GOTV effort. I doubt, he used the organization nearly in full.

It's crazy how accurate a bellwether county Westchester is.

Given what is missing, Cuomo should get to 61%, methinks.

Da Bronx is gonna put Cuomo over 60% in the end.

I am disappointed in my old stomping grounds. Sad

At this point, both are at 60.4%

You think? I can picture Cuomo flipping tables and ordering his lackeys to hit the streets and crack some skulls a lot more easily than I can imagine him uttering Teachout's name in public. But I'll be very happy if my imagination is misleading me.

If she is willing to robustly campaign for him, he might.

LOL, why would she campaign for a corrupt politician guaranteed of re-election?

With 81% reporting it is 60.6%. Cuomo should break 61% (the Bronx is still only at 52%)

I don't know if I should be amused or horrified that, if you remove the stuff I bolded, this would totally work as Ted Cruz's daily schedule if he were Governor of Texas.

No wonder they don't take the left seriously. There needs to be some repercussions for being a sh**tty Democrat. Sure, sometimes someone is primaried from the left like Joe Lieberman or Albert Wynn, but it's pretty rare. Even William Jefferson won his last primary.

You are mistaken. As far as the party is concern, the good Democrat IS Cuomo.

85% reporting (56% from the Bronx), Cuomo at 60.9%. Should get it to 61.5%, I guess.

Primarying people aside, New York politics is terrible.  We need actual grassroots progressive organizing.  We've never created that infrastructure because we never needed it to win statewide.  Relying on these corrupt unions and machine politics might be fine in an general election, but it leaves us with no strength to hold these bums accountable.

Dem party is, primarily, urban. You have any problem with that?

The Cuomo-Hochul spread is a lot smaller than I thought.  The Cuomo machine did its job in getting the machine vote to Hochul well.

With 86% reporting it is, actually, slightly down: to 60.7%. I think it was a bit of Manhattan.
