Guys, obviously Teachout is not going to win. I don't think anyone thinks she's going to win. It's just about sending a message and making sure that Cuomo gets to claim as small a mandate as possible.

I got my schedule for classes next semester and I'm actually taking a Copyright class with Wu. I hope he doesn't cancel it if he beats Hochul.

I also wonder what a Teachout/Hochul voter is like if such a thing even exists (it'd be female I suppose).

Low information conservative (pro-gun/anti-gay) Democrats?

If Cuomo were in trouble he definitely wouldn't be legitimizing Teachout as a candidate by attacking her directly on television. Having his surrogates attack her would be the best strategy. Maybe if his internals showed him losing or something. But the way his campaign is acting makes me thinks his internals show her down by like 15% or so and gaining.

Hillary Clinton is robocalling for Cuomo/Hochul

Is anyone really surprised that Hillary is backing the DINO (Cuomo)/Conservadem (Hochul) ticket?

The Clintons are good friends with Cuomo. They would back him whatever his ideology.

I saw Wu and Hochul campaigning when I got off the 96th st stop on the UWS today. Hilariously, it looks like all of Wu's campaign aides are my third year classmates.

Simfan, for some ridiculous reason, thinks that de Blasio hasn't been an incredibly successful mayor who people across the city love and admire. Best not to listen to his opinions on this.

Tim Wu has about as much government experience as Hochul does, so that attack doesn't even make sense?

Even when the horrible ones win Tuesday night, being able to witness this nonsensical desperate kitchen sink negative strategy from Cuomo has been a real delight, and in some sense, a victory itself.

The strange thing about this race is, just based purely on fundamentals, Cuomo and Hochul should both be winning in a huge landslide. But the media is talking about the campaign like it's actually close and especially about the Hochul-Wu race like it's a toss-up.

I think clerking for a Supreme Court justice is more impressive and gives greater "experience" than serving one term as a backbench congressperson. This is the weirdest attack ever. He even sounds half-hearted defending Hochul's "experience."

For what it's worth (perhaps not much):

September Surprise (@SeptSurprise) tweeted at 9:09am - 9 Sep 14:

#TeachoutWu is #KillingIt in exit polls on UWS of NYC (https://twitter.com/SeptSurprise/status/509327803717021696)

One would hope they are. If they're not winning the UWS, they're not gonna win anywhere.

I had class with Wu today. He seemed upbeat and confident, though less prepared for lecture than usual. Also I'm 99% sure his TA is also his campaign manager.

I just voted, and I was the only one there in my precinct. It was totally dead. There were a lot more people voting in the Rangel primary in June.

BREAKING: Teachout internal done by PPP (and commissioned by Progressive Change Campaign Committee) puts the race at Cuomo 58, Teachout 26. No Hochul-Wu numbers apparently.

I voted at 7:45 PM. I was #46 for the day but a black family came in right after me. I was very tempted to ask them who they were voting for but I of course didn't.

You do wonder who the blacks are supporting. Probably Cuomo. I guess we'll find out soon!

Westchester is usually NY's bellweather county, though I don't know if that's the case with Democratic primaries as well.

But, despite what certain folks have been saying, Teachout will win at least one county. She's winning Schoharie with 72% of the vote and 95% reporting. Hooray!

And Raimondo wins!

It would be hilarious if Hochul ends up doing better than Cuomo though.
