Well, once reason Cantor got defeated by a Tea Partier was his support for using H-1Bs to keep wages low. I guess there's some socialism in why he was defeated.

Well, most people think that "socialism" refers to free health care and roads--this is a consequence of the word being used to attack Obama. I unfortunately doubt most Americans would be on board with actual socialism just yet.
