Watching his press conference now. Seems like he's in over his head. Captain Ron Johnson seems impressive. Wish he was my town's police chief.

I never thought someone in my party could be worse than Cuomo, but Jay Nixon proved me wrong.

Hopefully this takes him out of contention for 2016.

I'd like to see the breakdown of the black vote in a Jay Nixon vs. Rand Paul race.

This implies he was in contention in the first place. Tongue

Anyway, HP.

Really dropped the ball here. Does Missouri have term limits? Because if not, he might want to retire quietly rather than become the Kathleen Blanco of Missouri.

Oh okay, for VP. Makes sense. I remember there was speculation about him running for President as well.

I thought he'd surely run for Senate against Blunt, but now I'm not so sure.

This is his second term so he's unable to run again, thankfully.

Disappointing. I wonder if Gov. Cuomo runs and  wins the nomination in 2016, if he picked Gov. Nixon as his vice presidential running mate, how would Democrats react?

Do you think the Democrats would allow two people with scandals in the past decade run together?

No. But if it happened, which is unlikely, I wonder what would happen. Nixon's probably toast if he runs in 2016 anyway.
