Seriously? It's going to be a terrible two years.

This thread just waded into the bog of stupid-er... I feel the need to re-post.

Any Democrat who thinks Rand Paul would be preferable to Hillary really needs their head examined.

Crack is bad for you. I would advise against it.
She said she would deport illegals and she is a warmonger. Hilary has zero appeal. Only Castro can save her.

You mean because she'd be more hawkish against Cuba?  Sure, but what can Castro do at this point?  Perhaps the memory of him is enough.

Especially since a lot of the ones who do hate Obama for not being liberal enough. I'm sure they'll love Rand...lol.

The mob mentality of opinion polls is more like it.

Rand's probably my favorite of the Republican hopefuls but him ever being President of the United States is an extreme long shot no matter much you love him.

I think Paul would have a fairly high ceiling. There are people who would vote for him, but not for a Jeb Bush, or (at this point) a Chris Christie.

One problem is that he's not a completely known quantity, nor has he been a national figure long. He could screw up badly in a national campaign and get clobbered.

But he could also run a better campaign in an environment that's better for Republicans.
