Option 3. Seriously, neither of them are a big deal.

Option 1.

I mean, I wouldn't find a vegan week some horrible challenge, but I can see that if you were used to a certain style of diet, it could be hard to think what would make a full, satisfying meal. But the idea of "politics" as some necessary sustenance is bizarre.

Depends on how we define "without politics."

Avoiding all exposure to political news and discussion would be virtually impossible for me unless I locked myself in my apartment without my computer or phone.

Following a vegan diet would only require that I pay slightly more attention to labels than I usually do.

This, except following a vegan diet would be extraordinarily unpleasant.

The problem with going without politics as defined here is that it precludes unintentionally hearing politics news from other people. You almost can't even walk down the street on the off chance you'll overhear someone say something political.

If we defined without politics as forbidding seeking out political news or discussion and immediately removing one's self from any discussion you inadvertently stumble upon that that would be far easier. Otherwise, it's going to be a rough week of eating Sad

Easy, go on vacation to a foreign country without internet.

Most people can't afford it, through.

I'd rather go without politics for a month than eat vegan for a single day.

Eating vegetarian for some length of time would be no big deal.  Going vegan is an entirely different kettle of fish.

Yes, I think some people are forgetting this. A vegan diet means you can't even eat dairy products.

Yeah, eggs, milk and cheese would be the dealbreakers for me.
