At this juncture Devin you are the sole member of the council. Feel free to introduce it as you please.

There is a vacant seat on the council; therefore I appoint Superique to fill the vacancy.

I recommend writing a new Official Legislative Council Rules of Procedure (OLCRP) to rectify this situation. Would the Justice mind taking the lead on that front?

I have some revisions in mind, but I urge the assembly to consider the above proposed legislation.

The Speaker has indicated to me that he will be unavailable for an indefinite period. Thus, as per its  rules, I will preside over the Legislative Council for the time being.

While I have no hope that this will fail the current council, I will be eager to vote against it in the referendum and if it should pass the public vote, seek legal action against this. Heck, such a thing has no place in our constitution! Pass it as a law if you wish, but keep our constitution unspoiled of this!

Would this be viable as a law, however? I will introduce it, and we may have this discussion.

Due to present circumstances (that being the Speaker's absence for a week), I will now assume the position of Acting Speaker, as per the Rules of Order.
