Mr. Speaker,

I believe that this act is an interesting idea, which I believe gives our region a sense of individuality, not unlike the names for the IDS and the Midwest Regions.

I'm going to have to butt in to point out that the WACKY ZANY naming schemes of the Metallica Dark South and the ~**~Midwest~**~ are a near-constant source of violent cringing.

I feel strange saying this, but why wasn't the Republican Form of Government Clause included in the Atlasian Constitution?

You can't have deputies without an upper house. It goes against the whole point of being a deputy.

Thank you Representative Dubya for introducing this bill into the Assembly in my behalf.

Passage of this bill will give the Northeast a unique identity within the republic.  The concept deserves a fair debate.

This is Atlasia fantasy government.  We can have any form of legislature we want.

With all due respect, there have been no successful grand duchies in the history of the world, and it's my firm belief that the Northeast is the best region. This bill goes against my convictions and my pride for my region.

Yeah, this bill feels kind of silly to me.

The whole point of the northeast is that we don't need to do any wacky stuff to be the best region.

If we are going to change any names at all, perhaps we should change the Assembly to the House of Representatives. Doesn't really matter though.
