But the unibomber wasn't a bomber because because of his Party ID- Democrat.

I have never said that all non-religous are good people nor that all religous people are bad people.

What I have said, though, is the structure of the belief system and the institution itself allows and sometimes promotes such radical behaviors.
Where does it say in Cristian teachings that people should do evil things?

Let me say, however, that I am by no means asserting that all religous people are bad people because Christian doctrine is bad.

I am instead speaking in terms of the average effect of religion on people and the role of the institution of Christianity in history.

It is the lack of adherence to Christian teaching, by people who profess to be Christians but are not, which causes the evil things you are probably referring to; i.e. Spanish inquisition, Salem Witch trials etc.

BTW Speaking of evil things and other atrocities, the communists have done plenty of them. How many innocent people were murdered by the communist governments of the U.S.S.R., China, and North Korea?
2 of the 3  people in your signature would qualify as some of history's biggest mass murderers.

I really still haven't seen any reason for the 5 votes that say that if everyone upheld Christian teachings and had accepted Christ as their personal Savior, that there would be more peace then there is today.

How couldn't there be?

How?

HOW?!

Most "Christian" churches are jokes.
Just because they disagree with your political views doesn't meant they're a joke.

My church was agaisnt abortion, the death penalty, and on the Iraq war, my pastor said this: "We should be opposed to unneccessary warfare, but now that the President has made it official, we must support him and our troops."

If  everybody followed rationalism and reason and gave up blind faith. We'd be better off.

This coming from a Communist.

To answer the question, no. Humankind is inherently violent.

No. The religious are the problem.

If all the world's religions disappeared, opebo would become a mute because he would have nothing to blame all the world's problems on.

If everyone worshipped rice, the world would be more peaceful.

(Most) any agreement on religion, as impossible as it would be, would result in less violence because people would agree with eachother.
