While Great Humanitarian and almost-Vice President Herbert Hoover was easily nominated at the UNC and FLG pulled ahead at the WNC, the BMNC was deadlocked again between Al Smith and a liberal, though this one sits down a lot more and has a nice voice. Nothing much else to say here - if you're on this forum you know who those two are. Three days, go.

Are we allowed to state VP preferences if we're not Bull-Meese? Perkins maybe? Or is she a WPer? Really we shouldn't even be voting.

Perkins is from NY though. I guess Norris is good.

Y'all can state VP prefs if you want. Malcolm and I don't want *that* much power.

I take that back about Norris. FDR/Gerald P. Nye for fun and because Nye's a decent fellow.

Nye was heavily involved with the America First movement though...

Yeah, but so was Burton Wheeler. And we're not at war yet.

Junior? He's still pretty liberal at this point. Maybe David Walsh again?

I like La Follette, plus it would better to have a ticket that appeals to both sides in order to have a chance against La Guardia.
