Thirty years ago, if there was a problem, you had a Democratic solution and a Republican solution.

Today, if there is a problem, you have a Democratic solution and a Republican conspiracy theory denying the problem even exists.

All that has changed is that the country is that the white percentage of the country is declining. The Republicans, including the so called "Tea Party" are the same type of Tom Delay and Newt Gingrich folks who shut down the government and impeached President Clinton back in the 1990s. Same product with new faces and a new name.
