Washington, D.C.'s metropolitan police union backed Republican-turned-independent David Catania for Mayor. Though most of D.C. police officers do NOT live in the District, this surely does not bode well for Democrat Muriel Bowser. Any thoughts?

OR, with the recent incidents in our country, do you think a police union endorsement could hurt Catania in a number of constituencies in D.C.?

I don't think their endorsement will affect the race at all.
