Ask me some questions, I may or may not answer them, and the answers may or may not be serious. Go.

That's a good question actually. While I embrace Ron's ideology more, I think Rand has done more in terms of bringing issues to light, and has avoided the Fed issue altogether. I'm more of a Chicago type myself, but most of the time, when Ron talks about the Fed, most people kind of roll their eyes and say "there goes wacky Ron". Rand is talking about stuff people care about, sentencing laws, mandatory minimums, sexual assault, and I think his voice is absolutely needed in the Republican Party and he is making slow, eventual change. Even if Rand is conceding too much ground on foreign policy and isn't nearly the social liberal I want him to be, I think Rand has done far more important things than Ron has ever done, so I prefer Rand for now.

I'm sure Rand will do something to screw that up though.

Favorite international politician?

I admit I am sort of weak on international affairs, but Stephen Harper isn't too bad.

I'm not exactly an open borderer, but I do think immigration is good. I think we should streamline and simplify the immigration process so that more are able to come in, while at the same time, both securing the border and increasing punishment and investigation on those who hire illegal immigrants (an angle that the Republicans will never take because those businesses fund them). And to deal with those already in, a guest worker program with a path to citizenship.

Did you move to Kentucky, and if not, why did you switch your avatar?

In support of Rand Paul.

What's it like being a libertarian in Oklahoma?

Not as bad as you'd think. It certainly makes for interesting shouting matches.
