Reid says he will not assist Robert Goodman's "doomed" bid for governor.

Most likely for the same reason Kirk won't help Oberweiss in IL-Sen.

Of course he's not gonna waste time on a joke race, and I commend him for stating it publicly, just like Christie said with NY-Gov (and would have said with NH-Gov if he didn't need an excuse to visit an early primary state). Not mentioned in this article, but I expect Reid will focus heavily on the LG race to help possibly dissuade Sandoval from running against him for Senate in 2016.

Edit: Oops, the LG race was mentioned in the article. My bad. Also, Goodman's quote is hilariously inarticulate and all around dumb.

Reid should be embarrassed his party didn't field a nominee, and he'll pay for it when Sandoval beats him by 10 points in 2016

Can members of the state legislature hold onto their seats and run for governor and lose while continuing to serve in the legislature? This isn't like Kentucky, right? They should have just fielded a random state house or senate member like Christie vs. Buono 2013.

I believe that's why he's focusing on the LG race, so Sandoval can't run for Senate without handing the Governor's mansion over to a Democrat. Reid is very good at what he does, so don't think he doesn't have a plan.

Well, at least the Republican used the correct adjective form "Democratic" two out of three times, which is two better than I would have expected.

He wants to focus on the LG race but as it goes on it looks more and more like it's Hutchinson's to lose. Choosing someone as far left as Flores to win a competitive general election probably isn't the greatest idea

Reid could very well decide to retire at the end of this term, especially if the Democrats lose the majority in the Senate this year.  He's getting up there in years.

Reid and Sandoval are pawns of the same chess player in NV.

Doesn't look like it's going to be a clean sweep Sad

Then again, bad news for both Marshall and Miller, more undecideds are Republican, so if they just win those, than there is even more problems for those two.

Nevertheless, glad to see Hutchison giving Flores a good stomping.
