Which U.S. President do you most closely identify with?

Please give your reasons if you like.

Teddy Roosevelt.

I like his populist approach.

George H. W. Bush for putting his desire for good management/stewardship ahead of achieving ideological goals or scoring political points.

GHW Bush, the most merciful, the most compassionate.

I don't follow any deranged conspiracy theories about him.

JFK or Bill Clinton when it comes to policy and governing style.

Personality-wise, maybe Thomas Jefferson or Calvin Coolidge.

FDR.

In 1936 says of the powerful interests, "I welcome their hatred." Gets 61% of the vote.

FDR and JFK.

In my lifetime, though, Mondale is the Presidential candidate who is probably closest to me. He was a solid leftist, athletic interest and background, and the like.
