I haven't read books by either of them, but I have seen Hitchens on internet videos (youtube) and television. I voted for Vonnegut, although I don't know a lot about him, I think that I agree with his views on politics more than Hitchens. (Vonnegut considered himself a Unitarian Universalist not surprisingly)
