Not bad.  It has something for everyone.  The script is incisive.  The music is well chosen.  The staging is simple and non-distracting  I think it has the potential to be effective among the xenophobic and economically frustrated set.  One thing I'd change:  try to find some better-looking actors.  On balance, I'd give it a C.

Well partly I have a personal dislike of the Compass, which often hosts frankly bizarre analysis that defies all reason and evidence.

In this case I think it's slightly cartoonish to suggest the BNP's populist economics makes them "left-wing" economically. Mainly because I would define leftism as policies in support of the worker. The BNP's brand of fascism is all about policies that enrich the state. Shoving the BNP into the chart is awkward and poorly fitting.

The Political Compass is looked down on the forum because the site's proprietors have an agenda, namely showing everyone how "right wing" UK Labour has become. In pursuing this goal, they have made a number decisions about their system which make it hard for a serious political observer to take it seriously.

a) Using a fixed political centre from the 1970's, which makes it impossible for the chart to make a meaningful differentiation between anything to the right of Edward Heath.

b) Asserting that major left wing parties are right wing while refusing to release said parties' hypothetical answers to their quiz

c) Using some loaded questions and questions that have next to nothing to do with political policy in their quiz.
