Franklin Roosevelt unlike in Realtime decides that the Rigours of the Presidency are too much for him and retires after just one term.  John Nance Garner but does not receive Roosevelt's endorsement who instead surprises everyone by endorsing Joe Kennedy Sr. Who wins the nomination and who is the new VP candidate.

The Republicans , seeing a great oppurtunity to regain the White House do not nominate Alf Landon and Frank Knox is not nominated for VP. Who wins the nomination for both positions ?

Does Roosevelt's retirement severely change what actually happened in 1936 or would have any Democratic candidate stomped to victory ?
