Rand, but only because I personally can't stand Christie's personality.

Rand I think would be a more trustworthy, more principled and less corrupt president. So Rand.

Rand Paul by about a thousand miles over Rudy Giuliani's socially conservative brother.

Yup I pretty much agree with all three of those posts, in addition to preferring Rand's stances on privacy/security/drugs/etc

They're both crazy. Christie is a faux moderate, which of course makes him the worse choice.

Christie isn't a moderate. He's a mecha-hawk, tough on crime, pro-drug war, anti-gay marriage, pro-life conservative who happens to be from the Northeast. On a good deal of issues, Rand Paul is closer to the center.

Paul seems risky. The upside is greater, but so is the downside. With Christie I feel more sure about what I would get, which would be a pretty bad conservative president. Paul might surprise positively, but I would also be more scared about what he could get up to.

Are you serious Paul's voting record is closest to Ted Cruz in the Senate to think he's anyone near the center shows your political ignorance.

The National Journal's 2013 vote ratings list Paul as the nineteenth most conservative senator, and Cruz as the fourth most conservative. Based on his voting record, Rand Paul is much closer to senators like Marco Rubio, Dean Heller, and Pat Toomey than Cruz. While I wouldn't say Paul is close to the center based on the data I found, he isn't nearly as far to the right as Ted Cruz.
