A morbid thought, but the last senator to die in office was Lautenberg. Who may also pass while in office? Heaven forbid anyone would, but who would be the most likely to out of them all?

Also Feinstein and Grassley for me. Maybe Hatch, but this IS his last term

Really any of the Senators who are older than 75 could pass on at any time.

Grassley and Shelby have confirmed intentions to seek reelection in 2016; if they can both be reelected they will be 89 and 88 respectively come the end of their term in 2023.  That's pretty old.

Grassley, Mikulski, Feinstein, Cochran are among the possibilities.

Any Senator beyond 70 + any Senator who jumps on a lot of planes (hence Begich, Murkowski, Schatz, Hirono)

PS: I didn't know that Feinstein is that old. Shocked

McCain or Feinstein are probably the most likely.

No Senators have been so ill recently that they bear taking a hard look at (as was the case with recent deaths in office -- Kennedy, Byrd, Inouye, Lautenberg). Feinstein, Grassley, Hatch, Shelby, and Levin are all over 80. The next name, at 79, is also worth mentioning: Inhofe. I don't think there's much risk for anyone (except perhaps Coburn, but he's stepping down) below that. As an aside, I realized just how old the Senate is looking at that list: 25 Senators are over 70; by an odd coincidence, exactly 60 are over 60. It's a good deal older than America at large, or even a usual American workplace, though the staffers probably tend to be younger.

Cochran's as healthy as a horse.  Shelby is older than Cochran and has committee to serving until 2023, he's the most likely to pass

Yeah, I think most of the older Senators are healthy; John McCain seems to be healthy too.
