Today I am announcing my retirement from the Legislature. I will not be running for re-election. I've enjoyed my time as Speaker, I've never done something like it in my long career in politics, and honestly, I liked doing it. I hope I get a chance to do it again at some point, but right now I don't want to do two things at once.

This is far from the end, ladies and gents, so get ready once this special election ends...

Announcement

Ladies and gents, on March the 23rd, I knew I was going to make an announcement about my future. I didn't know what it would be. Truthfully, I had a lot on my mind, and not just in the Atlas world. And factoring everything in, I have come to the conclusion that I am kind of sick of this game and need a break so, despite the well wishes and encouragement from many dear friends, I will not be running for Senate in April. I know this is very anti-climatic, but whatever man. Enjoying other parts of the forum a lot more, not necessarily enjoying life altogether more, but honestly, that's my business not yours.

So yeah, this happened.
