Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper is my go to sweet drink.

Lemon lime sparkling water is the best soda, though.

Option 1. Well, used to be option 1 for me.

I loved it... when I drank colas. Now it's been almost 10 years since I've had a cola of any kind.

Nowadays, option 3.

It's not bad flavor wise, but one of its 23 flavors doesn't agree with me and gives me headaches so I don't drink it.

Dunno - French option

It's very rare to find some in France, I only had a little can of it once that I found, who knows why, in the little import shelf, of a little supermarket, of a very little city lost in the very middle of France.

Iirc I found it worth a cherry coke, nothing to 'climb the drapes' as we say in French.

One that I never ever saw in France but that seems to be well enough exported outside of US is Mountain Dew, never tasted that one.

Dr. Pepper actually helps to relieve my headaches.  I drink the regular stuff at work and the diet stuff at home and the caffeine generally helps my headaches a bit.

That's probably because your headaches are coming from caffeine withdrawal.  If you didn't drink any caffeinated beverages, you'd likely get the same effect.

Meh.

The fact that there's this culty vibe to its drinkers makes me dislike it a little, which is silly, but is true. Veeery rarely, though, it'll hit the spot.

Just gross.  Probably the worst tasting non-diet soda.

It's okay.  A bit like pressurized, carbonated prune juice.  I wouldn't buy it but the times it was offered to me I drank it and found that I could stomach it well enough.  I assume that we're not talking about sugar-free dr. pepper.  I've never tasted that, but I assume that it's nasty like all sugar-free sodas.

I haven't drank the original in quite some time. I used to love it. However, as I will not ever intentionally consume HFCS, I have no intention of ever touching the original flavour.

That's prune?

(well, in French 'prune' means 'plum', but I checked out, and apparently in English 'prune' is what we call 'pruneau', dried plums)

Wow, I would have never guessed that the only time I tasted.

Correct. However, because prunes have a bit of a bad reputation in the US, they are sometimes marketed as dried plums as well. Here, they are associated with old people trying to keep their digestion regular.
